Fireplace Repair
We are the only certified Mendota technicians in central Iowa. We go through annual classes to stay up to date with everything new in Gas Fireplaces. We warranty our work for 6 months and are the only technicians in central Iowa that service every make and model of gas fireplace.
Annual Maintenance
Annual maintenance helps preserve the lifespan of your gas fireplace. We offer a full cleaning and in depth inspection of the unit. We perform readings on the valve to check the proper millivolts and we test the unit for any gas issues. Over time the Fireplace components wear down (thermopile and thermocouple) and will need replaced and in many cases we are able to fix the problems before they occur.
Sunnesta Awning Service
With Sunnesta awnings we are able to lubricate the elbow and shoulder system to help prevent "creaking" we also replace the batteries in the motion sensor system. We perform a full test of the awning transmission system, we tighten all mounting bolts and we can do a full cleaning on all metal components of the awning.

Chimney Cleaning
Chimney cleaning needs to be done approximately every 100 fires or at least inspected annually or bi annually. Chimney creosote is very flammable and can cause house fires. We have over 40 years experience in the hearth and fireplace industry and we can do full inspections during the time of the chimney cleaning to make sure everything is in safe and working order. At this time we only clean built in and masonry fireplaces (we do not clean stoves at this time). We are also equipped to clean dryer vents.

We have been in business in the hearth industry since 1978. We have done full fireplace replacements, fireplace inserts, doors, gas logs and electric fireplaces since the start. We are known for offering top of the line fireplaces at fair prices and we have always stood by our products. Most of our fireplaces offer lifetime warranties and we service all our units.

We offer Boulder Creek Stone and unlike the other stone companies in the area we cater to the hearth industry. We are the experts when doing any remodel project that would require a new stone finish for your fireplace.
